After a sell-out run in April, local Masterchef 2023 quarter finalist, Owen Diaram, is back cooking up his fusion of Indian and South African cuisine at the Coach and Horses this June for two nights only Friday the 6th and 20th June.

From the handcrafted onion bhaji made with Cook with Owen’s award-winning hand curated bhaji spice mix, to a selection of vibrant and flavourful curries originating from the Indian community in Durban, South Africa. Each dish is bursting with authentic flavours that will tantalise your tastebuds and transport you on a culinary journey.

Beef Meatballs in Chakalaka Chutney

Tender beef meatballs simmered in a spicy chakalaka chutney, bursting with South African curry flavours. Served on roti for the perfect fusion of comfort and spice.

Onion Bhaji

King Prawn Coconut Curry

A creamy tangy and spicy fusion of Prawns and coconut cream, marinated in Cook With Owen Masala. A delightful fragrant dish, fresh and served with Basmati rice and a fresh naan bread. (*GF)

Authentic Durban Chicken Curry

Originating from the Indian community in Durban, South Africa, this tomato-based curry is a vibrant and flavourful dish, known for its rich spices and distinctive heat, giving it depth and complexity. Made with Owen’s hand curated Masala. Served with Basmati rice and a fresh naan bread. (*GF)

Vegetable Biryani

A traditional recipe using unique flavour combinations, with a subtle aroma of
