Last Orders at the Coach & Horses

Final calls this weekend at the Coach & Horses as Harrogate’s favourite local is set to close… but not for long, so don’t panic! The Coach is undergoing a refresh beginning Monday 10 June. This will include upgrading from the ‘drink hatch’ style bar to a much larger bar to accommodate Harrogate’s biggest beer range, with plenty of stools for guests to eat and drink at the bar while enjoying the Stray views – based on feedback from our loyal patrons.

The popular Harrogate pub will feature a new, longer bar downstairs, replacing the booth seating, and the current bar will be converted into fixed seating. The upstairs dining room, which boasts the best views over The Stray, will remain mainly unchanged however will now accommodate a bar.

The pub will be closed for three weeks, starting Monday 10 June, with plans to re-open at the beginning of July. We’ll be closing with a bang, hosting a final hurrah before renovations begin with a ‘Drink Us Dry’ initiative. Beer prices will drop by 50p every hour from 7pm until 9pm over the weekend of 7-9 June. Food will be served all weekend long, including our ever-popular roast on Sunday, and there will be live music on the Friday evening.

As sponsors of The Stray Runners, we invite Knaresborough Bed Race runners to enjoy a well-earned pint at their after party on Saturday.

So come say goodbye and perhaps raise a toast to the old before we close the doors for the refresh. Keep an eye on our socials for sneak peeks before we reopen in July.
